2. Thursday– US Gross Domestic Product (q/q) @ 1:30pm

NEW ZEALAND INTEREST RATE- The Reserve Bank of New Zealand will release its interest rate on Wednesday. The market expectation is for RBNZ to leave rate unchanged. Nevertheless, the RBNZ’s fresh assessments of the local and domestic economies are set to move markets.However, the market will turn its attention to the accompanying statement. A hawkish statement from the RBNZ will strengthen the Kiwi while a dovish statement will weaken the Kiwi.

US GROSS DOMESTIC PRODUCT - The United States will release its gross domestic product for the second quarter on Thursday. The gross domestic product is expected to show a 2% growth which is lower than the 3.1% in the prior month.The second quarter saw a surge in personal consumption while investment lugged growth down. A better than expected outcome will strengthen the USD while a weaker than expected will be negative for USD.
